In September 2013, by the charter of Osh State University, on the basis of a protocol signed by the Turkish Diyanet Foundation, the Ministry of Education of Turkey, Osh State University, and by order of the rector, the Yiman Gymnasium was opened as the Yyman Lyceum. By decision of the Academic Council of Osh State University No. 1 dated August 29, 2015, by order of the rector No. 556 / 1, the Lyceum "Yiman" was renamed the "Yiman" gymnasium.

The mission of the Gymnasium: - to teach smart students who are able to combine their knowledge in practice with the help of innovative teaching technologies in school education, imbued with our values ​​and faith.

The tasks of the gymnasium:

- Create conditions for high school students to master the humanities and natural sciences at a high level, guide them in applying their knowledge in practice, and educate them in morality;

- Replenish the teaching staff with professionals and at the same time give teachers the opportunity to constantly improve their professional skills;

- Provide the gymnasium with a material and technical base in accordance with the changing science and new technologies in the world.
